American rapper and singer Toosii‘s Favourite Song is the lead single off his second studio album, Naujour, which was released on February 17, 2023. ADELSO and Tatiana Manaois, who also contributes background vocals to the song, produced it. Toosii sings on the slow R&B rhythm with a sample, talking about how he’s the ideal Valentine for his spouse. May 5 and May 19 saw the release of a remix of the song with fellow American singer Khalid and a remix dubbed the Toxic Version featuring fellow American rapper Future.

On January 7, 2023, he posted the first verse of the song to his TikTok page. After being uploaded, Toosii teased a Valentine’s Day release for the song if it received 100,000 pre-saves, which caused the song to become extremely popular on the platform.

Favourite Song features a significant excerpt from You Might as Well, a song by producer Tatiana Manaois from November 2022. The sample establishes the track’s overall rhythm and aids Toosii in developing the song’s layers as he talks about his love for his girlfriend and how to treat her right.

With 9.7 million streams in the United States, Toosii’s Favourite Song made his chart debut at number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100, his maiden entry. At number 192 on the list, he debuted for the first time on the Billboard Global 200 as well. Later, on the Hot 100 and Global 200, it would peak at number five and twenty-five, respectively.

Ahead of the song’s official release, over 60,000 videos featuring the clip sound had gone viral on the TikTok video-sharing app. There are already more than 300,000 videos on the platform that are made to the song.
