American rapper Wiz Khalifa first released the song Taylor Gang on his mixtape Cabin Fever. Later, the song was added as an iTunes bonus track to his first studio album, Rolling Papers, released on August 4, 2011. Lex Luger wrote and produced the song, which also includes Pittsburgh rapper Chevy Woods.

The song’s top position on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles list was number 22.

Bill Palladino directed two of the song’s music videos that were shot. The first music video features the members of the Taylor Gang donning colourful wigs and animated cheerful faces while they celebrate, use marijuana, and drink. The video was rejected because of its content, but it was nevertheless posted on Wiz Khalifa’s website. Wiz Khalifa may be seen playing at multiple on-stage concerts in the second and official music video, which was published by Atlantic Records.
