Download LISA – NEW WOMAN Ringtone (100% Free). Spanish singer Rosalía is featured in the song New Woman by Thai rapper and vocalist Lisa. On August 16, 2024, it was made available through RCA Records and Lloud.
Lisa declined to extend her solo activity contract with her label, YG Entertainment, in December 2023. In February 2024, she went on to launch Lloud, her own artist management company. She joined RCA Records in April to collaborate with Lloud on solo music releases. As her first song with Lloud and RCA Records following her split from YG Entertainment, she released “Rockstar” on June 28. “New Woman” is Lisa’s second single of 2024 (after “Rockstar”), and Rosalía’s first of the year after her 2023 collaborations with Björk on the single “Oral” and Rauw Alejandro on the EP RR.
On August 2, Lisa started teasing a follow-up to “Rockstar” on social media. In the clip, she could be seen flaunting a star-shaped chain around her neck while sporting pink hair. A second teaser featuring the same audio was released by Lloud three days later. It included a silver star with the label “coming soon” shown against a pink foggy sky, a silvery rose that was spinning, and the words “LALISA ______.” Fans conjectured that the song would be a collaboration with Spanish singer Rosalía due to the blank area and the rose.
The single “New Woman” will be released on August 15 at 8 p.m. ET, or August 16 at 7 a.m. ICT, according to an official announcement made by the two artists on August 6. The cover art for the single, which features Lisa and Rosalía staring sensually at the camera while wearing sunglasses—the former in a leather corset and jacket and the latter in a fluffy pink coat—was unveiled alongside the song. Lisa made her YouTube debut as the first guest of Lee Young-ji’s talk show Not Much Prepared, which debuted on the same day the song was released.
Simultaneously with the release of the single, Lloud’s YouTube channel hosted the music video for “New Woman”. Dave Meyers directed the video, which was shot in Los Angeles.
