Kanye West – Flashing Lights Ringtone (100% Free Download). American rapper Kanye West‘s song Flashing Lights is taken from his third studio album, Graduation. R&B singer Dwele makes a cameo appearance on the song, and Australian vocalist Connie Mitchell contributes extra vocals. Along with Eric Hudson, who finished production prior to the duo adding a live string section in 2007, West co-wrote and co-produced the song.

November 20, 2007, saw its release as the fourth single from the album to US rhythmic contemporary radio by Roc-A-Fella Records and Def Jam Recordings. It’s a hip hop, electro rap, and R&B song with synths and strings that are heavily included. In the song’s lyrics, West raps about a complex relationship in which a girl has control over him and makes a Nazi-like comparison to paparazzi.

Music critics gave “Flashing Lights” relatively positive reviews, praising the production value. While some critics focused primarily on the synths, others considered the song to be a seminal moment in hip hop history. Since then, it has been featured on other best-of lists, including as Pitchfork’s 2000s decade-end ranking.

On February 10, 2008, the accompanying music video made its debut. Rita G plays the lead role, and she vents her resentment on West by putting him in her Ford Mustang’s trunk and attacking him with a shovel. Critics gave the image good reviews, with many praising the model’s participation. Two years before West declared it his all-time favourite video, it took home the Best Narrative Video award at the 2008 Antville Music Video Awards.
