I Need a Doctor is mostly a rap song with extra piano keys added in the chorus and introduction. The song is produced in a “spacey” manner with a lot of drums. The song’s lyrics primarily discuss the strong friendship between Dr. Dre and Eminem, as well as how they have frequently supported and encouraged one another in the past.
