“He was trying to write an English singer-songwriter song, and I was trying the Dr. Dre end of the scale” , Blunt recalls. Tong began spinning the remix in July 2007 while serving as the resident DJ at Pacha, the 1973-opening Ibiza club that served as the song’s inspiration.
