T.I. – Get Back Up Ringtone Download ft. Chris Brown
American hip hop musician T.I. released Get Back Up on October 29, 2010, as the fifth single off his seventh studio album No Mercy. The Neptunes, a production team, produced the song, which includes American R&B singer Chris Brown on vocals.
Andy Kellman from AllMusic brought it to light. A more ambivalent assessment was written by Brad Wete, who said, “On Get Back Up, he arrogantly apologises for being human rather than for his crimes.” It must be growing heavy on that crown.” The song’s scandalous character was criticised by The Guardian, which said, “Get Back Up is one of the less endearing tracks on this consistently misfiring album, which was recorded while T.I. was under house arrest for weapons charges (he’s currently back in the jail for probation violation).”
The Atlanta MC is portrayed as the true victim (“As soon as you fall down, all the haters pass judgement”) and it concludes by saying that he is remorseful for his transgressions, but not really.
David Amidon wasn’t pleased either: “The Chris Brown-starring snoozefest, Get Back Up, is the ideal illustration (of failure, embarrassment).” Pharrell’s Neptunes supply a beat that is barely fit for a mixtape, while T.I. spews meaningless platitudes about conquering challenges.” Rolling Stone expressed disappointment, writing, “T.I. rhymes in his featherweight song Get Back Up, ‘My shortcomings hit the media thanks to TMZ, the AJC, and Wikipedia.”
Chris Robinson, the director, published the music video on November 3, 2010. It has DJ Drama making a brief cameo appearance. Over 35 million people have viewed the video as of April 2023.
