American rapper Snoop Dogg has a song called Sensual Seduction, which is often referred to as “Sexual Eruption.” November 20, 2007 saw the release of the first single from his ninth studio album, Ego Trippin’, under the Geffen Records label. Shawty Redd produced the tune. Most of the song is sung by Snoop Dogg utilising Auto-Tune. The retro graphics in the video pays homage to Roger Troutman’s approach visually.

Produced and directed by Melina, the music video for Sensual Seduction debuted on MTV on November 28, 2007. In the video, Snoop wears throwback 1980s attire and uses a talkbox while holding a keytar. There are also obvious allusions to Prince’s “When Doves Cry” music video. He is also seen dancing against a colourful backdrop while dressed in a throwback seventies ensemble. This marks Snoop Dogg’s second video in the throwback style.
