Girlicious – Baby Doll Ringtone Download
American girl trio Girlicious has released Baby Doll as their third song. On August 6, 2008, Girlicious played the song live on television for the first time, on Live @ Much. With four girls in the band, they released this as their final single. Natalie Mejia began reciting her verses after Tiffanie Anderson left.
On August 1, 2008, a 1:30 preview of Baby Doll went live online. Natalie Mejia verified that the song was the group’s third single. In November, the song was made available on iTunes Canada. Tiffanie added that Baby Doll will be released in the US at the start of 2009. But the music video had been accessible on US iTunes since 2008.
During the week the album was released, digital downloads caused it to debut at #75 on the Canadian Hot 100. Because of its single release, it returned to the chart and peaked at #55 after about 4 months.
A music video for Baby Doll by Girlicious was scheduled to be shot in the United States, according to Chrystina Sayers’ official MySpace page. On October 6, 2008, Tiffanie Anderson announced on her MySpace page that they will be filming the video.
The music video debuted on the popular Canadian music network Much Music’s OnSet programme, which gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Baby Doll set. Matt McDermitt served as the director.
The girls sing in a green Cadillac with hydraulics at the beginning of the video while wearing fur and metallic minidresses. They continue singing as they dance outside the Cadillac while the hood is up in different scenarios. Subsequently, the Girlicious performs a “party scene” featuring male backup dancers, culminating in the girls receiving pink money that descends from above. Mikey Minden and Robin Antin oversaw the video’s filming at the Quixtoe Studios in Los Angeles. November 20, 2008 saw the debut of the music video on iTunes.
