Fall Out Boy – What A Catch Donnie Ringtone Download
What a Catch, Donnie is the third radio single and second digital download song from Fall Out Boy‘s fourth studio album, Folie à Deux. It debuted on the US and Canadian singles charts on October 14, 2008, as part of the iTunes build-up to the new album. The song has a number of musicians making cameo appearances and singing lines from previous Fall Out Boy tracks. Pete Wentz, the song’s lyricist and bassist, has stated that he wrote the song to remind himself of guitarist and singer Patrick Stump. Fall Out Boy performed the song live on Jimmy Fallon’s Late Night show.
The Atlanta rapper Dolla, who was shot and died a few months prior to the song’s debut, was honoured in the music video. On July 1, 2009, the band and Alan Ferguson shot the music video for the song. Bassist Pete Wentz announced on Twitter on June 30 that the group had “wrapped up” the What a Catch, Donnie video. The video was released on MTV on August 6, 2009, and guitarist Joe Trohman announced via Twitter on July 2 that they had completed filming it. The video will be edited over the next few days.
Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith from Panic! at the Disco are featured in the video. The two were also featured in the music videos for Headfirst Slide into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet and A Little Less Sixteen Candles, a Little More ‘Touch Me’ by Fall Out Boy, where they played some of the dandies. On August 7, 2009, MTV, MTV2, mtvU, and MTV Hits all streamed the official music video.
Fall Out Boy – What A Catch Donnie Lyrics
I got troubled thoughts
And the self-esteem to match
What a catch, what a catch
And all I can think of
Is the way I’m the one
Who charmed the one
Who gave up on you
Who gave up on you
What a catch
What a catch
What a catch
What a catch
I will never end up like him
Behind my back, I already am
Keep a calendar
This way you will always know
I got troubled thoughts
And the self-esteem to match
What a catch, what a catch
And all I can think of
Is the way I’m the one
Who charmed the one
Who gave up on you
Who gave up on you
Where is your boy tonight?
I hope he is a gentleman
Maybe he won’t find out what I know
You were the last good thing
We’re going down, down in an earlier round
And sugar, we’re goin’ down swinging
Dance, dance, we’re falling apart to halftime
Dance, dance, and these are the lives you’d love to lead
Dance, this is the way they’d love
If they knew how misery loved me
This ain’t a scene, it’s a goddamn arms race
This ain’t a scene, it’s a goddamn arms race
One night and one more time
Thanks for the memories
Even though they weren’t so great
He tastes like you, only sweeter
Growing up, growing up
I got troubled thoughts
And the self-esteem to match
What a catch, what a catch

I still like ‘Headfirst slide…’ better. just the way he says ‘i know what you’re going through…’ makes me think that he does.
