The song Feel It was written and sung by the gifted American vocalist d4vd for the animated superhero series Invincible on Amazon Prime Video. With lyrics about being giddy and wanting to be swept off your feet, the groovy bop perfectly depicts the head-over-heels rush of new love.
The joyful energy of the song, propelled by a pounding bassline and lovely guitar melodies, mimics the thrill of a budding romance. In the chorus, D4vd even includes some soaring falsettos that give off an airborne vibe, akin to being enamoured.
It was produced by Sam Homaee, Noah Ehler, and Grey Toomey. Previously, Ehler and d4vd worked together on Laufrey’s This Is How It Feels. Sam Homaee is one half of The Roommates, a Los Angeles producing partnership. A large portion of Selena Gomez’s single Boyfriend and Dominic Fike’s 2020 debut album What Could Possibly Go Wrong were produced by them.
The song was composed by d4vd for the March 28, 2024, premiere of the Invincible second season episode I’m Not Going Anywhere. Feel It creates the perfect atmosphere for a romantic date night that includes both high-flying, superhero-esque activities and traditional romance stunts.
“Feel It follows Mark and Amber as they fly around the city on a date night,” told dv4d. The idea behind this song was to create a weightless, airborne experience for the listener. I got into music by composing to pictures, something many people are unaware of. Working on one of my favourite animated series was an awesome experience.
Feel It became d4vd’s third single to enter the Billboard Hot 100, eventually peaking at #75 in May 2025. Its chart longevity was bolstered by its connection to Invincible and its inclusion in d4vd’s debut studio album, Withered.
