Boys Like Girls – Hero/Heroine Ringtone (100% Free Download). Hero/Heroine is the first single released from Boys Like Girls‘ self-titled debut album. The song and music video were first released in October 2006, but during its first radio run, neither of them charted.

But once “The Great Escape” became popular, the band decided to re-release the song, and in November 2007 they debuted a new video for it on MTV’s TRL. Late in January 2009, the RIAA certified the song as gold.

The song “Hero/Heroine” has two different music videos. In the first video, a restaurant heist is in progress while the band is playing in some kind of lounge. The remainder of the band can be seen in different sections of the second video, which was made available along with the re-release of the song. Martin can be seen strolling around Boston with his girlfriend, Autumn Holley. The band is shown performing in front of fans at the end of the video.
