The song became T-Pain’s fourth consecutive top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and Akon’s ninth top 10 hit on the same chart when it debuted at No. 97 on the issue date of June 16, 2007, and peaked at No. 5 on September 22, 2007. For Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group, the song received a 2008 Grammy nomination.
Erik White directed the song video, which debuted as the Bonus Video on Yahoo! song on June 13, 2007. In it, T-Pain is seen flirting with the ‘Barmaid’ while dancing in front of a bar. On June 13, 2007, the video was also aired on BET’s Access Granted. The video was recorded at Atlanta, Georgia’s Fever Nightclub.
